Before you read further! Cooksey's Lifeguard and Swim does not have a facility of our own. We teach swim lessons at our private contracted out facilities and at in home and community pools. If you have a pool, we will meet you there and provide you with awesome swim lessons! We can meet at any pool that you have access to (parent's, friend's, etc.). Group swim lessons are a great low cost alternative to private swim lessons. They provide the child with the same great swim instructors and a chance to learn with their friends! Group swim lessons are a great choice for children that are timid and follow others easily. They are great for a group of friends around the same age and level as each other. This is because they push each other to be better. If a child is afraid of the water but see a friend eager for their swim lesson they tend to ease a bit and want to try new things. Group swim lessons are only for kids that are comfortable enough in the water. Kids that are crying, pushing away, or running out of the pool need to have a one-on-one swim lesson. Kids in group swim lessons should be around the same level. If one kid is doing laps and the other is just learning to swim, it will not be beneficial to have them swim together and the swim instructor will not be able to effectively teach both. Group swim lessons are perfect for kids that are friends that are near the same level of swimming, so that they can compete and push each other to do better. Please ask us to see if your kids are ready for group swim lessons.
Here's How Group Swim Lessons Work

Call 818-475-7939 or email info@cookseyswim.com to provide us with your name, basic swimmer information, and what days and times work for you.

After we get your swimmer information, we will see which of our Swim Instructor's schedules fit with your swim lesson availability and then call you back to confirm your first swim lesson!

Your Swim Instructor will show up at your pool when scheduled for an awesome swim lesson! They will bring a bag full of equipment to aid in your swim lessons. They will come on the reoccurring days scheduled to get your swimmer to where they need to be.
Swim Lesson Pricing
$65 for one 30 min. stand-alone private swim lesson
$55 per 30 min. private swim lesson when multiple are stacked:
i.e. $110 for 1 hour of private swim lessons, $165 for 1.5 hours of private swim lessons, $220 for 2 hours
No minimum amount of swim lessons need to be
booked in order to schedule.
