We are here if you need help
Becoming a member means having access to a team of experts in child development and swim lessons. That means if you get stuck or think you aren't doing something right, you can send us a video of you and your child during swim lessons and we will give you feedback. Every child learns differently and we may need to help you try something completely different in the pool. We will so our part in helping your child become pool safe.
Who are the program creators?
Samuel Cooksey and Hayley Church, the owners of Cooksey’s Lifeguard and Swim Academy, have put their heart and soul into building this swim lesson program for parents. They have 30 years combined experience in teaching and education, both in and out of the pool. They know and understand how children work and learn and they want to share it with all parents possible so that they can teach their children how to swim. Swim lessons are expensive, scheduling is difficult, and availability is not always there. With our swim lesson course for parents, they can teach their children at their own pace.
Why is this program so great?
Our parent and child learn to swim program is the key that has been missing, until now. Watching our videos and following along during your swim lesson time with your child will teach them the skills they need to know to swim, and will help you get to know the way your child learns and improves. We wanted to base our swim lesson program around more than swimming. We designed this program to learn with your child, so that parents can take what they have learned to help kids in all areas of development.
