RICE- Musculoskeletal injuries

When it comes to dealing with musculoskeletal injuries you should always remember RICE (rest, immobilize, cold, elevate). But what is a musculoskeletal injury? Sprans or strains can be musculoskeletal injury. Rest will prevent further injury and will speed up healing. Immoblizing it and iceing it will minimize swelling and pain. Evevating it will help with the swelling.
