The do's and don'ts of swim lessons!

Every parent need to know the do's and don'ts of swim lessons. When you are with your child you should always hold your child horizontally in the pool. This will help them get used to floating and swimming. You want them to be in "swim position" as much as possible. The next thing you should do as a parent teaching your child how to swim in to count everything out loud, you do this because they need to know when they should hold their breath. Using pool toys is a must when you are teaching your child how to swim, this well make swim lessons fun. As a parent you know you should always be talking to your child and that does stop when you get in the pool, talking to them even when they are too young to talk back helps them understand what you are doing.
